Is this true? I didn\'t see it if so.

From the AJC "Vent" page:

"Lesson No. 1 Mr. Ball: You don't do the tomahawk chop at the fifty yard line with 11 minutes to go much less the cut across the neck. Good game otherwise."

Tell me what you saw...

I'll withhold my opinion until I know whether or not this is rumour or fact.

thought at one point I saw a throat cutting move, not very noticable.

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">I actually did see one of our players do a not very noticable one out of bounds during the game. Hopefully coaches will catch them doing this and correct the situation since it results in an immediate 15 yds if you get caught. The NCAA made a concerted effort to stop that move when it was so widespread several years back.

Re: Is this true? I didn\'t see it if so.

The 'Noles were doing it too, once they got back
in the game. I didn't see Ball do it myself.

JJ is correct, it was someone, not RB, on the sideline. I hate to see players draw attention to themselves for doing the very basic things they are suppose to do like catch the ball or make a tackle.

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">Wrong. It was Reggie who did it first, then a few others-right after PJ scored. That's ok. I like the emotion. We need attitude like that. I just wouldnt say it in the papers...a la Jim Donnan.

Re: Is this true? I didn\'t see it if so.

I may be wrong, but what I saw was Reggie and others signaling 1st down, not the chop.

Think I saw J. smith do it once after a catch.......didn't see any others do it. Thats ok, gotta have some 'tude or you will get ran over!
