Is this what happens to your look when you slide down the depth chart?...

Many may remember top recruit Todd Walker who had committed to GT as a dual-threat QB, then decided to got to Texas Tech as a WR.

Well....he is a junior now and sits behind a freshman (Hawk) and junior (Britton) on the depth chart.

His look out of high school:

How does he look now?

Going to texas Tech has not been a good thing for Todd!

Hivered, you say sliding down the depth may have changed his look -- maybe changing his look and/or attitude caused this slide.

Wow, judging people by the way they look. A new day has dawned in American indeed.

that is my thoughts too. Do you look at the GT players and judge them by their "clean cut" or lack of appearance.

5 page thread about Dodd-era crew cuts in 3...2...1...

CUT THAT HAIR YOU HIPPIE!!!

Apologize if anyone thought I was critiquing Walker. That was not my intent. My only point was that Hivered had pointed out 2 events -- and assumed 1 caused the other. I merely wanted to point out that there is no reason not to assume the contrary, and no evidence for either opinion.

good grief....just joking around.

although you will not see many Board of Directors members in annual reports looking like the second shot!!!

At least up to this point he still has his hair.

GT65: During the latter part of his college days watched strands of his hair fall down onto the pages of his Linear Algebra and Statistical Theory textbooks.

the main problem I see with walker is that he looks fat. As a WR.. Don't care about his hair.

not unless you look back at Bill Gates and his management team at Microsoft in the early days, or go check out the Apple folks or the people that ended up creating Bell Labratories when they were just in college

MORE COWBELL!! :laugher:

...hey...a bunch of I.T. geeks do not count! :p

My interpretation of the photos was that he used to actually play football and have half a smile, now he looks a bit depressed and is dressed for a job interview at a sporting goods store.

I wonder how he would've turned out if he had come to Tech. Seems like he would've been a pretty good fit for our offense at QB. I remember that he was a good runner and really fast. Oh well.

You can tell who the hardest working people on this management team were, it's the two guys most right and bottom of the photo --guys were working so much they didn't even have time to trim their beards.
