after doing it for 7 years I want to thank everyone for making it an interesting competition. I like the 6 games better than 7 b/c it is keeping the pack tight.

I especially want to recognize the members who are consistently in the top tier. I hope that you use your skills to make you some extra $$$.

Feel free to post comments about the 6game vs 7game format.

GOOD LUCK!

Thank YOU GTFAN for putting it all together for all of us to enjoy!

6 or 7 doesn't really matter to me.

My "bucket list" includes kicking the EVER LIVING S*** out of Mover. Now that I have said that I have probably jinxed myself and will lose to his sorry arse.

BUT, right this minute I am ahead of him and in my feeble mind that is ALL that matters.

Getting ready a little early: TO HELL WITH GEORGIE!!

I love the contest, but this year and the last couple of years I screwed up and missed one week and then a second one so I stopped. It sucks, because I'm actually kicking ass on my ESPN Pick'em (I'm doing better than 85% of the nation as of this week) and I wish I had the same thing going on here.

After a top ten finish last season the GT65_UGA89 fanbase had high expectations going into this season.

We knew that we were learning a new system and that adjustments would have to be made to keep up with the perennial powers such as TechGator, ContactBuzz, GESJacket, GTGolfer, BOR, X and others.

We got off to a slow start but was able to right the ship a bit --but week four saw us suffer injuries to key personnel --not to mention some questionable officiating-- and we've yet to recover from those setbacks.

It's been an intriguing season thus far with some surprises --I mean, who figured that the 'Mover teams would both be cracking the top 15 at this point, right?

GT65, AK, CBuzz and GESJ are suffering through some difficulties thus far --but a good showing in our rivalry games and the bowl season could salvage the '08 season a bit.

Good job on the contest. Wish I hadn't "slept" thru that one week.

GO JACKETS!!!

I knew I should have never responded to this post. Horrible day today in the picking department. Oh well there are a couple of weeks left.

This being my first year I've really enjoyed it. Faded late, but it was fun while it lasted.

Can I propose a 10 point penalty for those that had the nerve and lack of faith to pick against the Jackets last weekend?

That should be a punishable offense beyond just getting 0 points.

Now this is a post I totally agree with sir. I know of at least on major FAT ARSE who made the wrong pick!!!

Personally I think he should have his ass banned from the site until he makes amends for his mistake!!1

GO JACKETS!!!!!!

45-42

And then even had the nerve to come on here demanding an apology. This after going against his own 9-3 prediction by picking an 8-win Tech to lose.

I demand an explanation.

Hey, I picked who I thought would win. And I'm trying to catch Haywood in the process.

I still picked 9-3 so there!
