we really need to have good turnouts for the remaining home games to show these players we support them.

I'm starting to believe we are stuck with him for another year.
Could be. We got him again for this year against the odds. I doubt it though. At some point even TS and AC are going to have to acknowledge that this is not what a developmental program looks like. You have to stop the bleeding.

I don’t know. Attendance was pretty bad with Gailey and we ended up with Johnson, so I feel like filling the seats is pointless.

A new coach has to happen. If the hill is going to let the contract ride out in order to save money, the lost revenue will pile up and might be insurmountable at some point. The rapidity in which the football landscape is changing, it is imperative that they change immediately lest you end up on the outside looking in. If change doesn't happen, I can only assume that means they don't care.

I dunno, it’s shocking to look back at old game clips and see BDS full of Tech fans even for lower tier games under Gailey and the early years of Johnson, but for whatever reason (probably a lot, not all related to on-field performance), things were falling off even before the Collins regime.

Yeah, well, CPJ had just finished a 3- or 4-year run of mediocre offense (by his standards). It just wasn’t exciting there at the end. And he was sticking with Marshall even though Oliver was carving up defenses. It was one of the few times I felt smarter than him

I think attendance is relatively bad. To me with Gailey bad attendance was under 50,000. Indo think CPJs offense was not interesting to a lot of sidewalk fans so then bad attendance became mid 40s. But now, is it unreasonable to believe attendance could be less than 25k? At what point do state or southern outdraw Tech? They may not be close but the fact I have to ponder it is disheartening.
