I went to the fan day and yes, the uniforms they were wearing were DEFINITELY old gold, not mustard gold.

Just trying to quell the uproar here, no more mustard gold, old gold is back in the uniforms! :biggthumpup:
 
Hmm, it looks good (as old gold and while always do) but it doesn't pop well. (Though, it usually doesn't) Still, unis look awesome and are, of course, the best in America*

*These results are NOT scientifically proven and DO have some form of bias
 
Here is a side by side of the unis. The colors in the pic are as close as I could get going side by side. Note that the top one is considered OLD GOLD and the bottom one is VEGAS GOLD. (Maybe we are calling Vegas gold by the wrong name?)

That looks more like Vegas gold then old gold. Last year was a step in the right direction. Why the hell did they change it?
 
Last year WAS old gold. So if they changed it, wtf did it change too?

A lot of folks didn't like it, which means they didn't sell nearly as many as they would have liked.

I personally like this year's gold better.

If the GTAA switched the color again back to vegas gold, they have no balls whatsoever. No balls. The old gold colors were great. Vegas gold sucks.

And herein lies the problem.. The mustard gold color IS OLD GOLD! What you are refering to is vegas gold which in my opinion sucks much like your misunderstanding of our gold colors.

I just prefer the old gold that has more pop to it! Also, I was going to get a jersey this year, now, maybe not. I should have gotten one last year, I guess. :ugh:

They didn't sell because the uniform template is God awful hideous and we look like an arena football team. I doubt the shade of yellow mattered. Make the jerseys look exactly like this, and I'm pretty sure sales pick up, and that's not Chan Gailey beige:

Can someone explain to me why the "old" gold looks bright and shiny like Las Vegas and the "Vegas" gold looks old and faded? I think that's part of the confusion here.

Can someone explain to me why we aren't wearing these uniforms full time? Nothing looks better under the lights. I've never met a person who doesn't love these uniforms. Even the SC anchor commented on how good they looked during the highlights.

Because the GTAA is still trying to figure out how to get over the hurdle left by the Dave Braine years of giving the fans what they want.

I love that jersey so much that I almost called up Russell and special ordered one. I would pay good, good money for that. Our team looks classy in it. I have no clue why that is not something we trot out. Instead, we get arena football outfits that's look marginally acceptable even on the best days. The white on white looks decent, but everything else is crap.

I guess our colors are Gailey Beige and White.
