It is time to give UCF the respect

If they can finish LSU off then they'll get their CFP shot next year with an undergraduate season.

They should get their shot this year. How hard would it be to set up a game between UCF and the winner of Bama-Clemson a couple of weeks after that game? Bama or Clemson could host. The winner is the national champion.

This is why the CFP committee is FoS

They're supposed to consider each individual season's merit and NOT reward teams for 3-yr-runs like the old bowl system

If UCF was deserving this season or last, the CFP committee should have recognized this at that time and NOT make them "prove it for 3 yrs"

It would be impossible, because neither Bama nor Clemson would ever agree to that.

Not disagreeing with you, but we all know it doesn't actually work that way.

No. If anything it's been the other way around. Pretty clearly missed holding on UCF's pick-six, as well LSU being incorrectly called down when they should have had a TD.

LSU's RB looks slow as molasses out there. It's nice to think that UCF is on equal footing with either Bama or Clempson, but both of those teams would boatrace (to steal the term from ElCid) UCF. I don't think UCF can match up in the trenches.

BTW...to not have knocked Burrow out of the game with the blind side block was the worst thing that could have happened to UCF.
