I went into last night's game with eyes
wide open, I even predicted a Tech win
in a very close game, but I am very
disappointed in something's that I saw.

The strength of our team was supposed
to be our OL and DB's. IMHO we were
shoddy here. And let's face it BYU
is not a great team.

Our depth problems are very obvious, can
anyone tell me what the rotation was with
our RB's??? I only saw Daniels, Dixon and
Ball carry the ball. If Coach is going to
run the ball like he indicated last night,
there is going have to be some more rotation
in our RB's.

Also too many costly penalties and turnovers.

I also wanted to see if our coaches would make
adjustments at half-time for covering their
TE's. I guess we never made any kind of
adjustments, did any of you see us doing anything
different.

It's the same oh, same oh, third and long and
they get a first down.

I fear that we will get our asses kicked pretty
bad by Auburn next weekend.

"Brothers and Sisters are you ready for a long
season"??????????????????????

I stated the title of your post during last season, so this is a little case of "I told you so". That being said, everyone is going to have to feel the pain and weather the storm together.

You're right on the money. A long season is upon us. I think the frustration is that even back to GOL's final season, we don't tend to make any major adjustments at halftime and our opponent does. As far as the screen pass across the middle, that hasn't been defended since, well since Hines Ward broke our hearts.

Play calling was iffy and I thought ultra-conservative. But we did have our chances and turnovers killed us.

Very disappointing and I think the next 3 weeks could get ugly.

Win or lose, we drink the booze!!
