that we have wasted 3 years with possibly the best talent that ever wore the GT uni. We won't know just how great Calvin is until he gets in the league and has someone get him the ball. Why do you think he has so many highlight reel catches? Because that is the only way he can catch the ball b/c it is hardly ever delivered where and when it should be. I get so sick of hearing how defenses take Calvin away. yes they do but you know what I find interesting........everyone else finds a way to get their play makers the ball (Jarrett-USC, Ginn-Ohio State, Rice-South Carolina, etc.). Those teams find ways to get them the ball and they face the same type of defense (trying to take the best player away)we do. It is utterly sickening. Why can everyone else see this? Even Kirk H. tonight during USC-ND said that GT didn't know how to utilize Calvin and that we could not get him the ball. Talk about embarrassing? If you were a blue chip recruit would you come to GT after seeing and hearing that?

I think it is CCG who wasted it, not the fans.

Stupid comment award.

Good grief dude....we threw to him a billion times yesterday. Execution of the throws from the QB position just was not there. Even the announcers made note of that multiple times.

CJ ran a reverse and had at least 10-12 passes thrown his way.

Get a clue.

btw....love how you just show up here after losses. Coward.

Let's see if you can get this through your thick skull.

Reggie was evaluated, recruited, offered, signed, coached, prepared, instructed, and named the starting quarterback for FOUR YEARS by CHAN GAILEY.

In those four years a quarterback should have been recruited and developed that was better than Reggie.

Either one, the other, or both of those items were failed to be accomplished.

Reggie Ball didn't just show up at Tech one day, name himself starter, and take over the team.

And none of these things were being yelled and screamed while we were going 9-2. But you drop one against UGA and he plays poorly (No matter how important the game is) and suddenly those accomplishments are thrown out the window, Reggie is the worst quarterback in history and deserves to be run out of town.

Thick skull, indeed.

Actually it's been said all along. Luckily we've played an extremely soft schedule to get those 9 wins.

We've beaten one good team, VT, who was not playing well at the time and would probably smoke us now.

We've beaten two mediocre teams in Miami and Maryland.

We've beaten 6 cupcakes (NCSU, UNC, Dook, Troy, UVa, and Samford)

We've lost to one damn good team in ND and two decent teams in Clemson and UGAy.

Nine wins this year is no better than seven the past four.

We are better than the teams with compete with. The bottom line is we are going up while others are going down. You can't deny that.

Agains...win Saturday and it is our first major bowl in 40 years.

Again...like your new sig...glad I could move you.

Just because I have not posted responses to idiots like you and jumped for joy after beating teams with a total of 4 wins does mean one has not paid attention.

So, how did "we" waste CJs 3 years? Oh, that is right, CCG is perfect, you know Curry will be the AD and anyone who doesn't agree with you is a coward dawg.

Guys like you will continue to insure results like yesterday.

Jackass loser.

That is completely untrue.

People here prefer to not see the reality.... spin the situation and practice saying "next year".

That's stupid knox. At the beginning of the season we were expected to finish third in our division. Miami and VT were expected to be better than us. MD, UVA, UNC, NCState, etc, were all question marks as was Tech. We emerged from that group as the best team and also knocked off Miami. If you remember correctly, when we played Miami they only had 2 losses. One could just as easily argue that losing to us started their slide downward.

You play who you schedule. You can't rethink everything after the fact. That's the classic buyers' remorse. You think you got a good deal but the more you pick at it the more you convince yourself you didn't. You play your schedule, you get your record and you move on.

Preseason expectations and rankings are meaningless. I'm sure the Chanster himself would tell you that.

Miami only had 2 losses when they played us. That is true. Their wins were over FAMU, Houston, FIU, Dook, and UNC. The FIU debacle had already occurred and the heat was already on Coker.

You evaluate a team after the fact using real data, not against some preseason rankings.
