If DRad hasn't made up his mind by now, he is still stuck on which foot to put a sock on first.

One way or another, I hope he makes the announcement today; even if it is Sunday and might offend some members of the fan base.

And I don't think he needs another email from me to figure this one out.....

I think he will wait until everything cools down a bit. Sometime the first of the week we should find out something. He will probably have to meet with the prez and some influential people before a decision is made.

I agree he needs to do it with class. I assume he'll do it tomorrow after meeting face to face with Chan. Also, I hope he then speaks immediately with folks who can pony up the dough. I assume he has feelers out to them already.

If we don't have the money to pay him off, we can't let him go but I think the money is there.

Saturday Night, Nov 24

DRad: Hello Dr. Clough, sorry to bother you at this hour but something unexpected has come up. Well sir, we lost to UGa for the seventh time in a row and our season ticket holders are really, really upset. Although sir I should point out, our stadium exit polls following the game indicate over 50% were very pleased with the outcome and enjoyed the hospitality. Well, yes there were quite a few people wearing colors other than gold. But my staff believes that's just because our fan base is very fashion sensitive.

From the emails I'm receiving, many of our fan base seems to think we need a change at HC. No sir, I didn't see this coming. Where will the money come from? I don't know sir, let me ask around and get back to you.....

I think you might be surprised at the number of e-mails he is receiving that support CCG. Yeah, yeah, accepting mediocrity, blah, blah. Still, there are many that don't feel he has been given an opportunity to succeed with the same resources as his competitors. Not saying I'm one of those folks, but I think those reading interweb message boards get a skewed the reality of what he's hearing.

Surprised?? I would be way way more than surprised. Let's see, flabbergasted? No that's not quite it. How about shocked right out of my senses? Like, looking around after the resurrection and realizing only the Georgia fans were gone.....
