Time to band together everyone, support who Dan chooses as Chan's successor. Look at the passion on the board today, it should be this way everyday about Tech athletics. Everyone tune into the 2PM presser on 790. I would expect a new coaching announcement soon as well, could happen later this week but will definitely be in the next 2 weeks I believe.

Agreed. Hope you're right that its quick.

Will it be someone that will take over immediately or will we get another situation like Chan that stays with their team?

Well said Dem, we really really need to unite now and give the new guy a chance regardless.

Not sure if the new coach will just come or wait his season out.
 
I would expect Tenuta to be named Interim coach and the team basically runs the same with Bond calling the plays and Tenuta working the D, Maybe bond and Tenuta as CO-HC because Tenuta likes to stay in the box and not on the field. Hopefully the new coach will be involved somewhat though, get in on recruiting get to know the team and players.
 
I'll get my season tickets if they hire anyone but Tenuta or Jimbo Fisher. I can't support anyone named Jimbo.
 
I'll support whom ever Rad gets! I'll support that guy like I did Gailey until he proves unworthy of Tech and my loyalty!

Based on my reading of Choice's comments in the paper (that's a LOT of supposition right there), I'd be surprised if Chan coaches the bowl. Choice is the heart of the team and he seemed indifferent about Chan's future at GT.
 
More then likely Jon will coach the team in the bowl, havent heard about it yet though.
 
Right on brother!!!!! Even if the new coach is not your #1 guy or an ex mutt, etc, etc..Lets all get behind or AD and show support and confidence that he is making the right moves for our program.... A change had to be made. For the first time in a loooong time lets stand together...

We are lucky we just probably have the hardest working AD in the country on our side. I have never seen someone so well prepared for every instance.
 
I am very happy with the decision and wish CCG the best. It's time for this fanbase to unite and move on to bigger and better things!

Oh yeah, like I really want to show up to practice after JT is not voted to coach the team. The D will be running wind sprints for a month after teeing off on the offense in that first practice.
