I thought your heart is in Buffalo? Did you ever play for the Jets?
 
The change started in 89 slowly but in 94 when the NFL signed the new TV agreement with fox I believe, that's when it changed for good. My back up went from making 200,000 to 2.2 million and never started a game. That's also when teams started cutting players that had 8 to 10 years in the league. The decision was do they pay an older player that much money or do they go with paying 3 younger guys and hope one succeeds. That's why i'm bitter with the NFL. But hey, that's the way it goes. It's a vicious cycle.

Edit: by the way, the three linemen they brought in to replace me, none of them made it in the league but for maybe 1 or 2 years.

out of curiousity...why do you hate the Patriots.

They are a hard team to hate from the football fan point of view.
 
Not a fan of billichek and when I blew my knee out in 91 and they were carrying me back to the lockerroom I got doused with drinks and other things. Not my favorite place to play.

Pretty darn good reason. Of course, Patsy fans probably really hated the Bills back then.

wow...that would do it. I would expect that in Philly, but not so much in NE....maybe throw donuts or something instead!
 
Why would anyone love NE? These are the same annoying Red Sox fans that ran Nomar out of town.

A customer of mine from Rome who played in the NFL said pretty much the same thing about Cinncinatti. Evidently NFL football fans just don't love anyone but their own team. Kinda like here in our state of Georgia............:)))
