When was the last time GT has done this before yesterday? I'm glad our Special Teams has picked up over the last couple years!
 
They said that was the school record KO return length. Only one I can remember was Gary Lee against UGA, right?
 
Dez White against Maryland in 1998 in Ravens Stadium. I was there. I want to say it was 100 yds.

As I said, on radio they reported that to be the longest in school history. I guess they could've been wrong though.
 
I don't have a record book accessible but I really think we've had longer than 96 yard returns. Drew Hill had several in his career and seems like we've had a 100 yarder at some point.

I think this got lost in the shuffle a little bit yesterday. That return was pretty impressive because he didn't just sprint through a wide open hole. He made multiple quick moves to beat defenders without losing speed.
 
Jamal Golden did it twice in 2012. First gainst BYU and again 2 weeks later against UNC.
