Three of our six non-divisional games are Clemson, UGA, and UT. And a UCF team that was good when we scheduled them. Not gonna find too many better OOD lineups than that.

Aside from the quick turnaround from Tennessee to Jacksonville State (dangerous team), the sequence of our schedule is pretty good. 3 OOCs before league play, then we have 3 ACC games but 12 days rest after the first, 9 after the second. No back to back traditionally top teams either--Clemson, VT, Miami, UGA all separated. Wake instead of FSU.

Our schedule, given the teams we're playing, is about as good as it gets, the only minor bad part is the bye weeks other teams are getting.

I get the gist of the article, but it was poorly written. Who is editing and spell checking these things nowadays?

I didnt realize JSU was a tough FCS team. They were 10-2 last year. Have to take that one seriously.

Edit: looks like they lost their senior QB (like us) so maybe not the same threat as last year

They took Auburn to OT a couple years ago

The first touchdown shown on Auburn's biggest-in-NCAA jumbotron was by Jacksonville State

I mentioned it in the probability poll thread.

To bump this (and not to make excuses for Duke and UVA) -- worth remembering how difficult tech's schedule has been this year. Per CPJ's post game presser, we'll have played 3 teams that were in the top 3 at one point or another when it's all said and done. Miami and Clemson are still there...
