Jackets QB Nesbitt hurt during practice

I guess this is why we have 14 (number exaggerated) QB's on the roster with another 15 (number greatly exaggerated) coming in. I don't think this will cause him to miss any snaps, but I do feel better knowing Jaybo is doing well with the offense - the guy can run! Two (three with Booker) high-quality QB's capable of handling the starting O - gotta love it.

They changed the story about an hour ago, to say "cleared to return to practice" instead of "hurt" or whatever.

Am I making it up when I get the impression that the AJC has gotten even worse this year?

Where's the bad journalism? He WAS hurt and left practice. As soon as they got an update then they added it.

Had you rather not have such real time information?

This would imply that they had good standards to live/work by in the first place.

That being said, if anyone could regress from being "sh**ty," it would be the AJC.

On another note, I'm sure that this frontpage earth-smasher they have about Richt canceling practice for swimming will be repeated throughout the fall in print and by broadcasters as another testament to how brilliant the Reverend is, but our dodgeball story a couple of days ago will not be mentioned ever again.

Relieved he's ok. Folks, there is a wide gap between Josh and ALL other QBs.

I'm actually kind of surprised he let them do flips of the high dive... sounds like a good chance to hurt yourself.

Why report something before you know the whole story? So should we hear every time someone tweaks an ankle and takes a water break to get over it?

Five years ago we would have never heard about Josh's stinger. The real-time reporting makes the line between news and not-news a little less distinct. That implies more responsibility on the messenger, and IN MY OPINION, I think some of the real-time reporters aren't as careful as they need to be.
