Well @jacket67 has been AWOL since Saturday, so I'll throw this out here.

BC has averaged a measly 11 points a game in their past 5, so I like our chances to keep them out of the end zone.

GT 32
BC 20

I think we win this one to get to 4 wins
We finally get a lucky bounce or two and take advantage of them
Us 28
Birds 20

Tech 42-38. Trying to be positive. No reason to believe we can stop anyone. So I’ll hope for a shootout win.

Clearly not a lot of attention payed to BC this year by posters in this thread. They're winless when Jurkovec doesn't start. They're undefeated when he does. Hafley is a pretty good coach. Jurkovec returned last week against VT. So everybody can focus on "last" or "winless in October" if they want, but this isn't that team now that they have their QB back.

Boston College exerts control on both sides of the line of scrimmage. The pressure to stuff the run starts leading to bigger and bigger passing gashes. The difference in the game is a costly Sims turnover or two and BC being able to QB run or go to something cheeky in the passing game whenever they really need to.

BC: 31
GT: 24

Frankly I'm more interested to get the temperature of the crowd as a pulse on the fanbase. How big is it? How engaged is it? There shouldn't be much if any help in the stands from BC, so we'll see the state of things on Saturday.

Some poster in another thread said we shouldn’t lose to BC because “tHeY HaVe a wOrSe aCc rEcOrD ThAn uS.” Well by 7pm tomorrow, BC will have the same ACC record as us, with the tiebreaker, and be bowl eligible, because we still suck right now. No points scored by the defense to keep the score closer than the game actually should have been this week.
