I will be here in a few to take my medicine. I do enjoy beating Miami, but I saw no real improvement, adjustment, or innovation. Still lots of penalties, still abysmal play selection, still questionable defense. Rejoice Tech Nation. What would we do without Tashard Choice?

DemJackets is informative, but his heart is overpowering his exceptional intellect. This is a watershed game, no doubt about it, but it is a game we need to lose, and we will lose. In the Orange Bowl, against a team that was embarassed last week , and a team that has two year revenge working. I will do the research if need be, but I'd be willing to state that no team has beaten Miami thre years running in the last 30 years. And we are not a good team. Not a mediocre road team. Against former coaches---does anyone remember Ted Roof and Duke. We go down and we go down big. But the silver lining is we will be closer to a new coach. What would Charlie Strong do as our new head coach? Any comments?

I agree we have quality young men on our team, but I don't look for them to show up Saturday. They have disengaged from this staff. They will play out the string, and like me, hope for something better in the future.

Way to go demjackets. Good post. Just one thing...I've never seen an ugly win and did not see one today.

So you saw nothing different? You didn't for example, notice the change in blocking schemes in the second half that opened it up for TC? Guess you don't know near as much about football as you like to pretend, huh?

Oh, and what is non questionable defense? A shutout? Please.

If you think our defense on Saturday was "non questionable", I think you are mistaken. It was the same story as BC and Clemson...our secondary got absolutely smoked again. There were so many wide open downfield passes during which the quarterback had time and just completely missed the throw. Put someone competent at QB and you would have a much different game.

I think our game at Miami really was much the same as our other games; Tashard *always* plays well. We all know that. The question marks have always been our coaching and our defense; I think the coaching did look better(of course, there was that ridiculous timeout...), but our defense was same as the rest of the season.
