That’s for sure. Watched a little of the game last night after not really watching much NBA at all.
Doesn’t look like they enforce the man-to-man defense rule very closely anymore, as they were playing full on zone, and very lazily at that. Just going through the motions until the final 2 minutes I guess.
I think I saw a graphic that said he has scored his last 285 points unassisted.
Damn old man, how long's it been since you watched the NBA?
NBA is hardly watchable, other than Steph curry and maybe a spurs/LeBron matchup.
NBA has allowed zone defense for 15+ years.
Well when did the Hawks and Celtics battle for the conference title, late 80s? That’s the last time I watched NBA.
I guess that explains why they were playing zone, lol.
Wow, can that be true? Although yeah I saw him bring the ball up the court himself and take the shot quite a few times.
But that three-sec rule, tho... still can't play the kind of zone college teams play.
Yeah, just when you think LeBron must be the best basketball player ever, you come across stats like this.
Wilt was the best of an era. I'm quite certain Lebron, Jordan or Shaq would've faired quite well against 1950s/60s "talent."
look up harden's streak of unassisted baskets, its 6 games, unreal
Harden is a regular season warrior for sure. But as soon as he hits the playoffs and they stop blowing the whistle every time he spasms his way to the bucket the turnovers mount and him being the worst defensive player in the building becomes more evident.
Sure, that's not in dispute. The question is if you give Babe Ruth the same weight training, computer- and video-aided coaching systems, off-season conditioning, free agency incentives, medical care, nutritional science, etc. as today's players, how would he do relative to them?
I love the NBA. I can hardly stomach college basketball these days; however, I can never watch a Houston Rockets game because I despise the way Harden plays the game.
He's a beast and scoring machine, but he's frustrating as hell to watch.
Yeah, if you're looking for entertaining NBA basketball, don't watch the Rockets.
Why do you guys say he is not entertaining? Not saying you are wrong, just want to understand better. No passing? too much isolation? No defense? What do you find to not be entertaining>
Yes to all of that
Plays like a bitch trying to draw fouls
