that catch he made coming over the middle both the announcer and the miami defender could not believe he held on to the ball.

he is turning into a SOLID reciever and a nice option for Reggie.

Yes indeed. He's one of the ones we all said needed to step up this season in order for us to do well and he certainly has.

You Could Tell

You could tell early in the season that JJ was playing nervous. You could also tell the talent was there and he would settle down and be a good one!

And he's a nice guy to boot. I just always find that a positive out of talented young players.

J Johnson is developing better than I thought he would. And I am biased since I am where he comes from in Orlando.
The TD catch at Clemson was phenominal.
And last week's TD catch was great. I have rewatched the play a few times and you can see separation against Miami's Sharpe once he saw the ball. THAT is talent, will, and an eye for the ball.

You can't beat hands, speed and routes (unless you have all that and you're 6'5".)

Most any receiver can catch a football if it's a catchable ball. But there's been a noticable lack of catchable balls thrown on the Flats in the past 3 1/2 years.
