If he could just improve his hurdling game, I'd say we have a pretty solid true freshman second-string QB. I can't wait until his nerves calm down.
 
He doesn't seem nervous at all to me, just not very fast or big.

I hope he gets bigger and faster.

So maybe he can HURDLE PEOPLE. Because seriously, hurdling is totally where it's at.

Hurdling is awesome.

Ok but seriously, Jaybo is going to be special. But as a freshman he's a little small and slow compared to the other guys out there. There were numerous plays during our last 2 games where I had no doubt JN would have picked up 5, 6 or more yards but Jaybo got brought down by a shoelace.

Those passing stats are pretty sweet though. Except that they look like a single game stat sheet for most QBs. ha..

You are really concerned with hurdling people aren't you. You have posted this several times about hurdling. Knowshon made a great play get over it. If it were Roddy, Nesbitt, or JD we would think he was a god too
 
I think all incoming recruits should be prepared to demonstrate not just that they can hurdle but that they can hurdle with SWAGGER!

Scout needs to start measuring hurdling ability at their combines...
 
Jaybo does have the cool name thing going. Not quite as cool as Knowshon, but maybe he could change the spelling to "J-beaux" or something like that. Add in some swagger and the media would be all over it.
 
Forget hurdling... Learn to fly!!! If he could lift off from the 50 and cruise about 10-15 feet above the field then do a barrel-roll into the endzone, now THAT would be something.

I disagree that Knowshon made a great play. He only gained a few yards after the hurdle, of which he likely could have obtained without hurdling. Was it flashy? Sure. A great football play? Not in my opinion.
 
When he actually hurdles something call me... until then, he's just a scrub.
