From a borderline close reliable source... Jaybo is starting on Thurs. Looking for something to prove or disprove this. Anyone heard anything?

Does that mean they're also a borderline distant, lying nutjob?

I don't have any sources without Tupac Shakur on the cover.

According to CPJ on the radio show last night, Josh was questionable, and there wasn't any practice or evaluation today, and that he would be a game time decision. Usually, that means that no decision will be made until game time.

Despite what reports say...NEITHER will be 100%. At least one will TRY to play...but neither will be 100%.

Jaybo has one leg healthy with what is believed to be a deep thigh bruise...and Nesbitt is basically without legs at all.

If we were playing a game that had no conference implications...and was not on Thursday night...I do not believe either would play.

CPJ will say they are fine because that is the way he is...a no excuses guy...but they are not fine.

Wow not sure where you heard that....not at all what I witnessed today.

I ate lunch 2 feet from Jaybo today, and he is completely fine and near or at 100%. In fact, while getting lunch, by the coke machine he was flat out asked how he was and he turned around and said no issues at all, something "flukey" happened to him last week. He doesn't even remember being hit where his swelling on his leg was.

so anyway, from what I witnessed if he is not 100%....he is close

Josh is another story though

How far did you eat lunch from demjackets?

I apologize, I don't know him, know who he is, and don't have any evidence he even works in the AA.

all i have to go off of is his word and the fact many of the things he has said, I have heard from an independent source so I trust he is what he says he is...whatever that is.

IMO nesbitt will give it a go.

Then come out in the first quarter and Jaybo Shaw will take over.

I overheard CPJ having a conversation with some alumni before the show last night. He confirmed Nesbitt would be a gametime decision, but seemed optimistic that everyone except Jahi would be able to go. He said its Thursday night, Miami, national TV, a shot to atleast tie for the division, once those borderline guys get out there in warm ups they'll be so jazzed up they wont feel any pain.

I guess by borderline he was talking about Melton, Vance, and Josh.

I would like to think that all this injury talk is part of a strategy to catch Miami off guard. Besides, it's going to be too cold to feel any pain, so the guys need to man-up and play some football. I'm feeling pretty good about this game, because I don't think the Miami players will be able to run their defense when the temp drops below 75 degrees. The'll be huddled around the sideline heaters shaking like junkies at a methadone clinic.

Well I would start Jaybo and if he wasn't effective then bring Josh in relief.

What happened with Jahi? I thought he was good to go.

If he played any other position besides CB, he could probably play. But at CB there is too much stop/start/back-pedal/twist/turn/etc/etc. Plus at DB, if you re-injure during a play its a TD...just like when he hurt it at Clemson. A DB has to be 100% from the waist down to play.

I was talking to a buddy of mine about JAHI last nite..

I was thinking I'd love to see Jahi play at least 25% (minimum) of our defensive snaps.

Our ENTIRE D has not been even close to as good without him (post-Clemson game).

A senior cover-corner is one of THE hardest positions to replace, imo.

CAN HE PLAY!!!??? - Jon Voight

Yeah, take a look how much lower the points per game against us was with than without Jahi. Yeah, we did play better teams, but he made a huge difference and shut down most stuff thrown to the #1 WR.
