Glad to see that he is ready to help the team if needed. He was certainly a key cog last season in a handful of games.

My question is that given his penchant for seemingly taking big hits and the fact that he has had a couple of concussions, how is his health?

I worry that another concussion could likely end his playing career due to the long term effects of having multiple concussions in a short time frame.

Am I way offbase here?

I don't want to see his (or any other player's) career end that way. Maybe it was more due to him running more upright and he's been able to modify that so that he doesn't take too many head on hits.

I like watching him play and knowing that we have a solid backup if the need arises.

It seem like it might of been fixed by the fall, whatever he was doing that caused him to get concussions. The one time it happened in the fall, it was mostly because his helmet kept flying off and he was getting knocked a bit while unprotected. I remember reading somewhere that they changed is chin strap or something like that and the problem was resolved.
