Just thought there is something to be said about this guy. I remember we were down 12-0 to FSU in 2000 and couldn't move the ball. JC came in and started moving the ball. I remember Marvious picking off Weinke and taking it to the house and, we actually led the game 15-12 in the 4th. Just thought I should mention Jermaine. That was actually one of the most soothing losses ever b/c it was a big moral victory and helped us toward our last overachieving team up to date with 9 wins.

Crenshaw was one of the players that O'Leary said "would be special" one day.

Others that come to mind were Kelvin Hughley, Mark Logan, Jimmy Dixon, Bryan Corhen, and Guenter Kryzson.

Hope things are working out well for Jermaine now.

ACTUALLY IT WAS MARCUS OUTZEN NOT WEINKE. HE CAME IN AND THREW THE INT. AND WAS NOT SEEN AGAIN.

I did a little digging and found out that Jermaine is now at Alabama State and got good playing time in 6 games last season (he actually rushed for 100+ yds in 2 games last year).

Here are his stats

Joltin

Crenshaw's stats at AL State are really not so hot though overall. He had 10 td' with 10 int's...and completed just 52% of his passes (106 for 204)

He had others games where he rushed for 2, 27, and 30 yds.

You are correct that he had 2 good rushing games as the QB...but it does appear that Jermaine made the right move by transferring.

The tip-off on Crenshaw in hi school as I recall was that he actually ran for more TDs one yr than passed for Tds.That is only good if you are running the wishbone at 1A level..
