Serious accusations for sure, but the former player comes off as a whiny, bitter, little bitch.

But I do like the continuation of the theme, buried in here. The word of the season is "cruelty".

He's complaining that an ankle injury was improperly diagnosed... not a concussion or heart condition or something. I'm sorry the kid got an ankle injury, but it's not clear to me why we should believe the team trainer was negligent in diagnosing it the way he did. Seems like another case of hindsight-is-20/20.

And the fact that he's claiming the cash-for-recruits and overlong, mandatory practices "directly impact[ed] [his] health, safety and well-being" so that he can play immediately at Arizona, really undermines his credibility.

It almost sounds like the guy doesn't want to play football anymore, or at least doesn't want to win, even though allegedly that's what he'll be doing at Arizona.

...or sounds like he wants to play football right now so he's over-exaggerating hardships as to not have to sit out a year. Still comes across as whiney, sure.

Doubt they can investigate all of the allegations before the season starts so I doubt he's playing this year. Either way, seems like granting this waiver and penalizing A&M would go hand in hand.
 
Marchiol's allegations were written in a statement that is part of his attempt to be cleared to play for Arizona and Sumlin this year, rather than sit out the customary season after transferring.

Recruited by Summerlin, hammered by Jimbo, transferred to Summerlin. Doubt Jimbo is innocent, but he would be the last person I would believe.
