It's refreshing to see that some people still have an appreciation for history--just to think of all the events that have unfolded since that house was built is bewildering. Most of these idiot real estate developer types would have leveled that place to the ground. GT should be proud to count Mr. Dewberry as one of its own.

I got an email from John, it's great to see he is in a good place right now. He's important to Tech and I hope nothing but great things for him.
 
Great news about JD! I had thought his cancer was pancreatic for some reason. All prayers go out to John. Really cool stuff he's doing with the real estate as well. Megabad!

I saw him on CNBC the other day and was stunned at how... healthy he looked.

What a turnaround. Like I said in the original thread: if anybody can beat cancer, John can.
 
The photographer for the NY Times story is a guy out of Savannah. He's really good.
