Yes, but after 2017 there is no buyout. If CPJ were fired at the end of this season, the buyout is only for the 2017 contract + $1 million for each of the 2018-2020 years. The wording is right there in that contract linked by @BranMart

Another dumb contract. Put a subpar coach with a top 15 assistant salary on a 3 year contract. Most assistants are 1-2 years. I wonder if there is a buyout. This may explain why he has not been fired

So its looking like staff changes all around end of next season if another 6-6 5-7 season happens imo.

Lets just hope stansbury doesnt retain roof. My head will explode

I believe buyout is $3 million after 2017 season and decreases by $1 million a year until 2020.
