Trying to add this up, assuming it took him four years to graduate from GT... redshirt year + 2 years of play + 1 extra year from covid = two years remaining, not three... confused
He redshirted 2019, 2020 Covid year did not count for anyone, played last year 2021 as his "first" year so has 3 remaining. He was part of the 2019 recruiting class but came in as an early enrollee in January of 19 so his first school semester was Spring 2019. He completed his degree over the summer of 2022. So he had 11 semesters at Tech. I believe there were several in his recruiting class that did the same and graduated:
He majored in business so depends upon what his graduate studies are. Grad school from SHSU is probably still worth his time.
It was football. His uncle, T.J., worked with the OC with the Houston Texans. Here's an interesting podcast with him, mostly about NIL. The interview starts around 3:50.
So you think he would be at Sam Houston State if he was not playing football?
Of course not. Would he have been at GT if not for football either? Dont think so. So what's your point, I'm curious?
