Nesbitt is a badass and a gladiator, but I gotta think that after the last two weeks he must be a little banged up. I would love a report from someone in the know about how he's holding up as we get ready for yet another tough challenge. Thanks.

He seems to be holding up pretty good this year. He was fighting up until the end Saturday night, when FSU's vaunted defense was busy attempting to get cheap shots in. He looked pretty gassed at the end of the Clemson game, but I didn't see any of that against the cheatin' Mickey Andrews.

Yeah, last year he took a beating and it showed. He limped around for the last games and just laid down after the play before the final knee against UGA last year...

I'm seeing a tougher Nesbitt this year. I like it a lot, but I don't know how he's holding up nor if its gonna last much longer. Knowing Nesbitt, he's not gonna let anything short of a double-amputation stop him from leading this team, and that's heart. I saw it in the FSU game for the first time in a long time: A GT quarterback leading the offense instead of running it.

I hope he can stay healthy and at the top of his game for the rest of the season.

those just made me laugh. When they pushed Nesbitt back down and when they picked up Dwyer and threw him to the ground, it wasn't a Miami brawl that ensued but a "really?" gesture from both of them in both situations.

just shows the class difference between FSU's student-athletes and GT's athletic students.

You should have heard the post game interview with Josh after the FSU game. He was on cloud nine. You could feel the enthusiasm and positive energy in his voice. He said he was even in on the on sides kick at the end as part of the hands team. When Wes asked him why, he said because I have the best hands on the team. He followed that up by explaining as the quarterback he has to handle the ball more than anybody else on the team so it is an expectation that he has the best hands on the team. He was glad to be in there and was ready to grab the ball if it bounced his way.

I think Josh is really coming into his own now. He could be a real monster down the stretch.

Go Jackets!

That explains why Jaybo recovered that onside.

Well put big guy. I would hope he's had some Tech Brains develop some invisible forcefield (joke) to practice in so he doesn't get banged up even more outside game time

Bottom line... He may be the toughest sumbich this side of the Mississippi

Hey GimeEnHell.... Where u tailgatin? We have a big one at the W21 near the Textile Bldg

I worry more about me than Nesbitt. That is one tough dude - as is Dwyer, our O line, Marcus Wright, Allen, Jones, Peeples, Lyons, Cox, Thomas, Hill, and whoever else gets in on offense. I have a pulse watch that I got at REI on back. My pulse hit 153 during the Clemson game just standing there cheering. Nesbitt's probably didn't get to that. He just looks so in control all the time.

I still remember the pass play that would of been interception if Stephen Hill hadn't of played good defense and a FSU player hadn't of helmet-to-helmted Nesbitt's helmet off. After taking the hit first thing Nesbitt does is look down field to see what happened. Flag gets thrown a bit behind him but he didn't see it nor call for a flag from the ref. Cared more about the play than getting a flag for a hit.

What I especially like about Nesbitt

is that unlike a certain unnamed recent qb, when he runs the ball downfield, he doesn't get up jawing with the tackler, but goes back and gets ready for the next play.
