Just returned from game..and finding posts bizarre!!!

I see posts all over the place questioning play calling in a game where we scored 35 pts. after rambling for almost 200 yds. rushing and over 300 yds. passing!

Conversely...almost nothing regarding our defense which came up with nothing in 4 quarters to respond to over 300 yds. of rushing that we surrendered and 130 passing yds. to boot!

I am not looking to hang or blame anyone....I just find our fans reasoning and questioning quite odd.
 
WTF are you reading? The defense sucked, the playcalling was good. The fact that Taylor Bennett has not played before now is criminal.

not to mention we LOST and blew an 18 point lead..maybe that has something to do with posts here not being all rosey posey. just maybe.

ho hum..another five loss season, another loss to UGA, another no show in the top 25, BUT it was a good year to some here. Do we as GT fans have low expectations?

Recruits! Come to GT where the fans are ok with mediocore seasons and if you don't perform on the field, we'll cheer when you screw up in the classroom and get ruled ineligible. THAT, is the take away by many on this board and, yes, there are post here to back this up. Such a shame.

Having reading comprehension issues again GeeTee...my comments had ZERO to do with looking for rosey posts.
 
I thought the stupid break down by our DB's during the gadget play totally lost the game for us. I said it at the time and still believe it. If we just let WV work the way down the field we would have been fine, but to give up a stupid long TD play in no time at all was just dumb and it cost us the game.

Is that better?
 
Guys this has happenned to our defense before. Remember Utah last year. Some will not like what I say but a coach who is willing to adjust his offensive scheme can beat our defense. We play a high risk zone blitzing package. We have to because truly our athletes are not as good as some of the teams we play. JT leverages our intellingence in a very complex defense just as Big Ralph did with our offense while he was here. During the season it is very difficult to make big changes to your offensive package to handle one specific defensive scheme so it works well during the season but when you have three weeks to prepare for it we can be had.

If you don't want to hear different points of view you can post on the Hive. It is very sanitized. Otherwise kill the name calling and post a rebuttal with facts if you don't like the facts or opinions the geetee is using. If you can't add to discussion intelligently may be you need to go in your hole.

I agree! I dont even care about the game as much as I am pissed off that our stubborn coach hasnt tried this kid until now (and he was forced too by the grades) This 1 game, just this 1 game,proves that he is a stubborn mule. Im not saying we would have won every game- all Im saying is that to not have played this kid over the last year or so is truly sad and shows what a simpleton he has been. If he would just from now on stay out of the way going forward then he could look like a hero (as long as he studies "Big-Time Decision Making for Winners" book)
