Do you realize that by Labor Day we could have Nesbitt, Claytor, and Dwyer committed and have beaten ND, gaining national attention for future recruits as a result? Without a doubt IMO it would set the stage for future recruiting dominance and future ACC dominance. In regards to the short term effects, a win over ND would be the start of what could be a very special season for our Jackets.

Only if... we'll just have to see come next weekend. :fingersx: :fingersx: :fingersx:

It is about time for the tide to turn. It seems like things were looking great a few years ago and then Tony Hollings blew his knee against BYU. I had a sick feeling after that game even though we won...then a series of the strangest things in the world happened from there.

Perserverance pays off in the end...and the pendelum definitely seems to be swinging fast and hard back in our direction!

I remember that game (why the hell were we playing BYU in the first palce?) when Hollings tore his ACL(i think) damn was that a shame :( , Hollings probably would have led the ACC in rushing that year. Our season would have certainly taken a different course with Tony running the ball.

That was definitely a "what if?" season, and we will never know what could have happened.

Well of course, let's hope the recruits go Tech and we beat ND...
Unfortunately, 2 of those fellers could wind up in Athens and 9/2 could be Utah revisited...
I'm just sayin' (and borrowing from the StingTalk strategy during our hoops run in San Antonio!)
