Interesting listen. Talks about how CPJ always seem to have an answer to their adjustments, and how difficult it is preparing for our offense. He says the steep drop-off in VT's offensive production after the first three series is mainly because they stopped executing, not because we did anything different. Where have we heard that before?

In broader terms, this season he's been dealing with a similar kind of irregularity that CPJ is dealing with. Fuente describes it as similarly perplexing and frustrating. (How would I like it if my job security depended on the performance of 20 yr old kids?)

Also, he states that in his opinion TQM and TO are similar QB's and have similar athletic talent. He also mentions that he knows Graham pretty well and thinks he has similar talent, too.

He needs to poach Brent to figure out how to stop our backup qbs.

There was a funny undertone to that clip.

“You know what you’re gonna get when you play GT. You know what they’re gonna run.”

“Well you always get something you haven’t seen yet. With Paul you know you’re gonna get something you haven’t seen.”

(Reporter) “at halftime Paul said in an interview that they were using a blocking scheme they haven’t used before.”

“...they were running QB sweep...a lot of...loaded QB sweep.”

Probably hard to diagnose what happened before you see film, but he comes across as a guy who’s kind of clueless on Xs and Os.

Yeah, I was thinking that myself. This is a dang complicated game.

We didn’t run much triple and were primarily a power running team. Very little option.

The best thing TO did was protect the ball in tight spaces. Howard did a much better job too. The only fumble came on an option play, which happens. No fumbles due to sloppy fundamentals.

The weird thing VT did is hiring him and keeping the "head coach in waiting" around. Seems like it is becoming a strained releationship

Speaking of bud foster?
Yes, they payed him a million a year as HC in waiting and then ööööed him over for what appeared to be the sexy prom queen. Turns out the Prom queen got the clap real bad.

Lol it doesn’t look like Fuente can get consistency out of his offense either.
