Kenny Scott Out for Gator Bowl

It amazes me that Kenny could let that happen his last year in the program. Obviously the focus has been on the NFL and not GT. That's understandbale, he;s a young man. But I find it equally disturbing that this happened to a senior player. We will never know what efforts were made by the coaching staff to keep Kenny from getting in trouble, but it is disturbing nonetheless.

Losing 1-3 players per year to academics is normal for GT...has been for decades.

Kenny has worked hard to stay eligible each year...barely making the cut each time. We really thought he would be ineligible back in the fall. I am not sure what got him this time...but as you progress at GT from one class to the next (Fr to So to Jr to Sr) the minimum required GPA gets higher. That does it to some folks.

Don't be surprised if there are a couple more...plus another medical in addition to Wayne Riles.
