Who would be our backup for Hill/BayBay after Cone? Melton?

Also, I'm glad Kevin got the ball on the onside kick before(?) breaking his ankle.

Johnson also disclosed wide receiver Kevin Cone broke his ankle in the win against FSU. Cone started the first three games but has appeared on special teams mostly the past three games.

It sucks he broke his ankle, but I'm still sore about those 2 block-in-the-backs against Miami that got a 20-yard run and a Roddy Jones touchdown called back.

Yeah, because he meant to do those on purpose.

no, it's more that he should know that if you can see the number on the back, let him go.

I know he's not a Dawg in disguise... or is he :ugh:?

our depth chart was the following at WR for FSU:

WR
Demaryius Thomas
Zach Fisher

WR
Tyler Melton
Stephen Hill
Quintin Sims

Kevin has slipped to 4th string on Melton's side. With a broken ankle...i would not expect him back before the bowl game personally.

We should always keep uppermost in mind that football, with all its glamour, glitter, thrills and chills, plus everything that makes it great, has one thing more important than all of these combined--that is, the boy who plays it

Okay, this post is full of FAIL. Like epic amounts of just sheer FAIL.

The kid is a freshman and he is hurt. Not cool dude.

Kevin's a good guy, he'll be alright. He's an awesome story, he's an ME major, and does quite well at it. He said once that he realize he's probably not going to play in the NFL, so he wants to get his Master's and go work designing lighter, safer, football/sports equipment. Pretty cool stuff. I think he's replaced Darryl Richard as probably the smartest guy on the team.
