Any insight on what time this game may start?...or when they will announce the start time?

Thx.

They will probably announce after next week's games.

My uneducated guess is that they will have it as a 3:30/8pm last minute decision. Those have to be announced by like the Sunday before I believe.

Gives ESPN the very last minute to get the best matchups they can.

This is assuming they actually think it will be an interesting match up from an money stand point.

Yes I was assuming, hence the "my uneducated guess". I haven't actually looked at the schedule for that week, so I'm not sure what other games there are, but my assumption is based on the fact that I am thinking (really really hoping) that we will win against MSU putting us at 4-1 and also assuming VPI will get by Duke this weekend making them 4-1 as well. They have BC, we have FSU.

I think two ranked 4-1 teams with games that look like they could be winnable coming up, I think the big networks would be interested in that. But because FSU is so dangerous you can't even come CLOSE to assuming we would win, which would mean they would want to leave the option open.

That's where my assumption comes from. :)

All I know is, after a Thursday night game, a 1pm and a nooner, we damn well need later starts the rest of the way out. It doesn't seem like we've had time to enjoy a tailgate this year.

Probabaly a 3:30 match up or 8pm. If we somehow beat both MSU and FSU, then we may have a possibility at gameday, but only if we win both those games.

Also, looking at the schedule, VT has two patsies the next two weeks. If our games versus MSU and FSU are close games, then are guys may be worn out by the time we face VT.

I don't care how worn out they are, as long as we win the next two weeks!!!

I'm hoping/assuming it will be 3:30 because it's homecoming. I can't ever remember a night game for homecoming.

but i can remember plenty of noon ones, which is just as ridiculous if not more so. id rather have a night game for homecoming than a noon start. how you gonna visit ANYONE go even get a chance to walk around campus for a noon game

please, no noon game for HC!!

I think Texas vs. Oklahoma is that week, so they'll probably get the nod for Gameday even if both us and VT are 5-1.

Homecoming on campus has absolutely nothing to do with the start time of any game. Television rules all.

Texas/OU is a 12noon kickoff nationwide on ABC that Saturday, 10/17.

Other ACC games that day:
NC State @ Boston College Chestnut Hill, Mass.
Virginia @ Maryland College Park, Md.
Wake Forest @ Clemson Clemson, S.C.

VT at GT should be a 3:30pm kickoff that day, at a minimum.
