for jackets if we lose to UGA

I think this is just his opinion
but...it does stand to good reason they would take FSU over Tech for a ACC/SEC matchup...obvious reasons. FSU would have fallen in their laps so to speak

I think the challenge in this scenario may be Charlotte and Wake....with their proclaimed we want to take an instate team first (which is raw) Wake is the obvious choice. However, I have heard they caught flack for choosing blindly in the past so perhaps they will go outside this 'rule'.

I guess....I just don't see why Music would take GT over FSU? Could anyone tell me why?

He's definitely guessing but with some sense of reason.

But he might not have the order of selections correct. The CFA is the 2nd ACC selection. I'm quite sure they'll take Clemson if the Clemosn beats SoCar.

The Gator will then pick and I imagine they would much prefer the loser of the VT/UVA game over BC.

So, I think BC will either go to the Orange or Champs. The Champs will have to take BC over GT or FSU even if FSU and/or GT wins this weekend.

I'm not sure why Charlotte would take Wake over GT or FSU but they probably will based on their prior decision making.

clemson is the real variable. If they lose Saturday, that likely sends them to charlotte and BC to one of the top 3 bowls which opens up the Champs bowl for GT or FSU.

anyway, we need to won and we'll stay in the east. If not, we'll need some other things to happen. A Gailey firing will definitely effect Nashville's decision.

A Bama vs. GT game is still possible but Bama's loss on Saturday hurt the Jackets a lot.

I'm pretty sure both FSU and GT can bring more people than WF. If they don't get the "home town" bid in Charlotte, they end up out west instead of us I think.

The only way Tech stays east is in Nashville. The only way Tech goes to Nashville is if Clemson somehow falls to the Car Care bowl in Charlotte, allowing Champs Orlando to snap up FSU.

Otherwise, Wake is a lock for Charlotte. And Nashville will take FSU over Tech. Nashville still MAY take Wake.... although Wake does play at Vandy this weekend making a return trip unlikely. Especially after they see how Wake travels.

Clemson went to Nashville last year and won't return.
