Three shots back from Spieth with the final round coming at the Open.
Koooooch. Prove me wrong, cuzz.
In perfect position for a 3rd or 4th place finish
Koooooch gobna do it
Come on Kuch, let's have a GT foursome. Jones, Duvall, Cink and Kuch: all winners of The Open Championship.
Down 1 stroke to Spieth. I don't think the kid has it today. Kuch is gonna take him out.
Now if we can just see one GT Buzz in the crowd of Brits. Must be on GT person there other than Kuch, Duvall and Cink.
Spieth in big trouble on 13. Kuch better take advantage of this.
Spieth should lose a stroke for taking so long. This is bullshit.
öööö Spieth. That rat bastards bullshit delay took Kuchar off his rhythm. He should have been penalized for that ööööing bullshit delay.
Incredible last few holes for Spieth
Kuch put up a good fight, but it wasn't enough.
I tuned in to golf for the first time in half a decade today, to see Speith trying to figure out exactly where to take his drop behind those busses at the practice green.
Then he goes on that tear.
Meh. I guess he's pretty good?
Still awesome to finish 2nd at a major. America #1 and #2. I think it's his best major finish ever?
Yes, his best ever.
At 39, how many more opportunities does he have to win a Major?
Everything was falling into place....then Spieth turns into superman.
Kuch had a good Masters this year, so maybe he can find his way to win one. PGA is at Quail Hollow, and I wonder how well Matt's done at the tournament that's held there every year (except this year, when they moved it to Wilmington I think). What sticks out in my mind of the regular tournament at Quail Hollow is McIlroy shooting 62 on Sunday to win it a few years ago
Kuchar's best chance is likely at a US Open, imo. To me, it doesn't seem like he really has the game to go and fire low rounds to beat guys, especially not the guns like Spieth, DJ, Day, Rory, et. al. who can all go low. Kuch has always been a steady grinder type.
He beat the field by two strokes this week except for Spieth. It takes some luck to get a major, but I would bet on Matt getting one. Very impressive win by Jordan.
Needs to just chopblock Speith one good time off camera and he's got it made.
How many times do you get a birdie and still loose the lead? Damn, Speith made two incredible putts in a row.
