Late in the evening a Tech man shows up - sees the dynamic between me (happy) and my UGA girlfriend (sad) and says to her, "I'm a Tech man, but I'll be pulling for you guys to make the Peach Bowl."
My girlfriend only heard, "I'll be pulling for you guys," and gave a glowing thank you before realizing what she had thanked him for.
She is a better sport than me, so we all still had a great time.
