Pronounced [vaginia]. I remember the 1990 UVA game with the announcers speaking like that. I guess CBS's regional coverage was REGIONAL commentators.

Did you see all the players from WVU who were NFL caliber? Bulger, Porter, and Zereoue. The only player from Tech on that team to have a meaningful NFL career was Brooking, I believe.

I was at the game and GT fans were in the majority. It makes you wonder why we are branded as not travelling well to EAST coast games.

By the way, I ran into the Frig at a Charlotte auto dealer a few years ago and I guarantee he's put on more than the Mover.
 
The main thing that sticks in my mind from that game is how the temperature plummetted on game day and the wind started blowing even harder. Man it was cold down there.
