Four ACC teams ranked in Week 1 AP Poll

Virginia Tech dropped to No. 14, but the Hokies are still leading the ACC pack in the latest Top 25 rankings. Georgia Tech checked in at No. 15, followed by No. 19 North Carolina and No. 20 Miami. FSU dropped out of the rankings, but even Boston College got some votes after it's thumping of Northeastern.
For a conference that took a hit in the public perception after the first week, having four ranked teams doesn't exactly spell doom. It does, however, indicate that with Virginia Tech's rapid decent out of the top 10, the ACC's chances at playing for the national title dropped right with the Hokies.
