well, not sure if it is true, but someone in the inner circle says Clough is talking to Carol Moore. Doubt if she is in the running but it could be Clough respects her opinion. Anyone that can flunkout one eigth of the football team in one quarter has got some serious power.

these rumors are just getting rediculous. No one, except for her cronies (which does not include clough), likes her, and she will not be the next AD, nor will she have much, and doubtfully any, say in the proccess.
There are plenty of real issues to be worried about with the athletic program (read football program), but the AD search is not one of them. This is a rocky stretch for Tech, but we'll get through it alright, keep the faith for a year or two and things are going to become a LOT better, just need a new AD to get comfortable, and get the coaching situation taken care of.
We've had a lot worse times, and we've bounced back. To which I'm sure many will respond "but the game has completely changed!" as I'm sure they did in the 70's, 80's and 90's when we had a lot rougher spots. Just hold the ship steady for a little while longer guys, its a weird transitional period for the GTAA right now. No need for gloom and doom predictions and getting all worked up, if some jerkass gets hired, then we'll raise hell then and I'll go ahead and volunteer to construct a burning effigy of the new AD, but until then, lets keep it a little more level headed.
