That's ok, he doesn't know me or how close and dedicated to Ga Tech I've been my entire life. No, I don't want ND to win, I just know if they do he'll be on here spinning and backing all over what he's said.

Law_dawg, I must admit you make a powerful case about Aubum, Mia, and Clemson, but you seem to forget UVA and UGA and Utah after the Mia games so lets get real and don't speak out of one side of your face like most lawyers do. Tell the whole truth and be sure to throw in NCSt.
 
I for one expect to defeat ND next year. The Irish are coming to The Flats and I expect a victory. That's my mindset every time I walk into BDS@HGF, every time I turn on the tv, turn down the volume, and tune into Wes and Van Note to watch/listen to the Jackets. Hell, that's my expectation when I go to Clemson, Auburn or between the hedges to watch the Jackets.

However, over the last four years history does reveal that for every high that GT fan's have reveled in, exasperation settles in the following week or two when a loss to a Duke or NC State occurs.

I wouldn't think that any true Jacket fan would truly hope for an "I told you so loss" just to rub it in the face of a differing opinion. I'm sure that wasn't 3GJ's intent.

Hey, regarding Lawbee and his blinded support of CCG, I would love to bow down and tell him he was right because it would mean GT had one hell-uv-a year. But for now, the history of the previous four years lends credence to the mindset that this just ain't gonna happen.
 
Don’t listen to Lawbee, he’s one of those blindly optimistic fans who puts an individual (CCG in his case) within the program above the program itself and sticks to his notions no matter what evidence there is against them because he won’t admit that in some respects he’s wrong.

I thought 3rdGen’s post was more about what was Law_Bee going to do if ND beats us, but he did make it sound a bit like he was hoping for an “I told you so loss”, I can’t blame him for wanting to get Law_Bee since he (Law_Bee) has made absolutely hilarious posts spinning and trying to justify a humiliating loss in the past, like the one entitled “When is 51-7 not a blowout” or something like that in reference to our VPI loss last year (go ahead dust it off if you don’t believe me).

Without the intention to insult, saying that this

class is Gailey's best since he has been at GT is not really going out on a limb. The bar has not been set very high.

Please remember that is should be all taken into perspective: Recruiting classes are measured for the most part "on paper".

Gailey has not brought in any "sexy" recruiting classes but has done relatively well with what he has brought in. So while the saying that this is his best recruiting class isn't saying a whole lot, does it really matter when considering the overall competitiveness of the final product?
