I've fussed for 2 yrs that he should've RSed, but was wasted on just a handfull of plays for 2 yrs. With a rs yr Tucker might've been a factor in the LB race.
On the other hand, TT may not be an ACC LB & would greatly help himself by sitting out a yr while learning a smaller Div I school's system, perhaps a ConUSA member.

There was more to it than what happened on field.

Taalib is a great kid by everyone's standards and is/was very well respected by all. He felt it was time to go, and no one wanted him to, but all parties knew it was his best chance to accomplish certain life goals.

I wish him the best. The friends I have close to the situation are sad to see him go.

It's not a major loss in on field contribution, but it is a loss to the locker rom. Everybody loved the guy, and all think he has the ability to play somewhere as well as finish his degree, which he can still accomplish somewhere else.

All the best to Taalib. I watched his recruitment and signing with great interest and anticipation. Wish he would stick around but the reality is some of these fellows change their mind and I totally wish him all the best in the world.

Taalib, I salute you. Unless you GO TO THE DAWGS!

Great kid that picked us over offers from Ohio State, Tennessee, Georgia, Oklahoma, etc. Unfortunately it was just not working on for him at GT...despite the fact he would have contributed at LB and on ST this year. Good luck to you Taalib!!!

was it he that got TWO personal foul penalties playing on the kick-off team last yr?

Let's make sure we kick him in the butt on the way out rather than just letting it go with a "good luck young man and thank you for being a part of the GT family."
