AJC:

LSU coach Les Miles doesn’t believe Georgia Tech will have a big homefield advantage in the Georgia Dome for Wednesday’s Chick-fil-A bowl.

For one thing, LSU is playing in the Dome for the fourth time since 2005. For another, Miles thinks Tigers fans will be louder.

“I suspect that there will be more Georgia Tech fans in the arena than ours,” Miles said Tuesday at the final news conference. “I expect per fan, our guys make more noise. I think the environment will be just what we need.”

Tech coach Paul Johnson, sitting alongside, couldn’t let that pass.

“Hopefully our fans will take that as a challenge to be as loud as the LSU fans,” Johnson said. “We can certainly use ‘em.”

They were louder in 2000, because we were all spread out and they were in one big pack.

While it's typical of that dick to say something along those lines, I will agree with his point that LSU fans are about as rowdy as they come.

I for one swear by all! I WILL HAVE NO VOICE AT GAME END!!!! So help me GOD!!!!

Think about what you just said...

The game was sold out.

LSU fans were all in one pack. We were spread out.

Was there a third group of fans in there we didn't know about?

I will make it a point to be louder and more intoxicated than their entire fanbase combined.

Techin, there tends to be alot of neutral fans at the Peach Bowl, so i think that's why he says that.

I will be intoxicated by watching CPJ, Dwyer, Nesbitt, and the rest of the Jackets running over LS-Who.

Remember...Only 11 players can play on one side at a time. ;)

I will be yelling so loud the ground will shake. Problem is, I don't think it'll carry the 650 miles down to Atlanta.

But it might.

The GUMBO KITTENS may start loud-but-I believe by halftime they will not have much to cheer about! (Just MHO)

I Will Be As Loud As I Can-

The X Factor Will Be My Loud As Hell Wife That Is Coming With Me-

I'm happy to hear other explanations. They were louder than us. Much louder. Even when the game was close.

I don't know who will be louder, but I know our fans will find more to complain about.
