Les Miles Staying at LSU per ESPN

Not sure what it means for CJT but I'd bet he's gone anyway.

What it means for Les Miles is that he's gonna be one rich dude. You know the counter from LSU had to be pretty sweet to nip this thing in the bud.

Probably means Tenuta is in the running for the DC job at LSU. Tenuta would be wise to try and secure a slot at a big program like LSU in case the GT job goes away.

It also means we won't hear him referred to as "the best DC in the country" on ESPN anymore unless he gets associated with Big 10 program again.
 
If I were Tenuta, I would do the best job possible in preparing for the bowl game while secretly exploring other coaching options in case he decides to leave, either because he did not get the head job, because he does not like the new coaching arrangement, or the new HC doesn't want him.

But before anyone asks, I'm not Tenuta.
 
Les did not say he would not interview with Michigan as early as tomorrow. He said absolutely nothing, except I am the LSU coach. Well , duh.
 
Well, he definitely made it clear that he didn't have an agreement with the maize and blue at this moment, and the reports are he's getting a new deal with LSU. My opinion is that I don't fully believe anything until the official press conference happens to announce it... unless Bobby Cremins in involved, then you never know what could happen next.

Exactly, he could just as easily turn tail and run north after this game is over. He comes across as being a cocky, pompous d*ck and I wouldn't put it past him to do just that.
 
Interesting because Kirk impresses me as being a tad pompous, too. He must be s***ing in his loafers if his source bambozzled him.
 
If I heard the TV right, looks like Miles just said he would be the coach at LSU next year.
