....you would think we were freakin' Ohio State or Southern Cal over the past 5 years with some of the complaining!!

How about:
1) Reggie throwing 4 TD passes
2) The defense giving up ZERO TD's
3) Tashard rushing for 163 yds
4) Travis hitting another critical FG
5) Calvin having 9 catches for 168 yds. & 2 TD's
6) James having 3 big catches for 40 yds. & 2 TD's
7) Despite having to scramble some, only giving up 1 sack
8) Holding NCState to 58 yds. rushing
9) A win against UNC or Duke puts us in the ACC CHAMPIONSHIP for the first time...a 50/50 shot of being ORANGE BOWL bound for the first time in 40 years! (1967)

31 - 23 is the only stat I care about. I am giddy to get this win. I am always concerned about playing a team that has good athletes and NCSU fits that bill.

Our guys went into a hostile environment and took care of business. It may not have been pretty every minute of the game but we got a win when we absolutely needed one and took a HUGE step towards Jacksonville.

This team clearly believes in each other, even when the chips are down. The defense doesn't seem to get down on the offense or special teams no matter what happens because they know that the O and the STs are going to come up with the critical plays when they need them. That's really awesome to see!!!

Is the wolf howl a little creepy to you guys?

It doesn't get you fired up or ready to play. It just seems like one of the forgotten experiments out in the barns has poor cell reception or something.:p

Agreed...there is some definite team chemistry with this group.

No joke. And they just kept on pressing the button.

The Key Takeaway To Me

is that we found a new way to win, compared to our other games.

Lest we forget, NCSU has scalps of BC and FSU this year. We played them on the road after we had an emotional home win. That is tough tough tough.

And we came through.

You nailed it. To win consistently, you have to have players and they have to make the plays.

Wes said it well on NCSt last drive. "Who is going to step up and make the play that stops the drive?"
