As to the followup question the answer is yes...
Many of us Tech fans sat and watched as the seconds ticked off the better part of the 5th quarter... at last the goalposts succumbed and the crowd (GT fans included) gave a congratulatory roar of approval...
half a dozen police officers merely stood their ground around the second goalposts and the exhausted Duke fans retreated towards the already slain posts and continued the celebration...
FWIW I felt worse after the UMd, UGa, and Fresno St. games of last season...
