There have been a lot of posts (mine included) calling for the firing of CG. Let’s face reality. Dave NoBraine is not going to admit his mistake. Therefore we are stuck with CG for several more years. Am I happy about this? No!!! Will I still attend the games? Yes!!! Will I boo? Absolutely not!!!!!!!!!!! Lets just suck it up and try and pull together and make the best of a bad situation.

Dave, maybe I wasn't too clear in my statement. What I am trying to say is – Let’s support the players. They have no choice in who the coach or AD is. We need to let them know we are behind them You are right about the mediocrity. This is not the Tech tradition.

Once a Tech fan always a Tech fan! 28 years is a long time and I'm a fan of the players. Thank God because it sure wasn't because of some of those coaches during those times!

Will always support the TEAM which is the players!

You know what else is "not the Tech tradition."????...

Ohhh, maybe something like...trying to fire coaches in their first year.

It is unclear to me at this particular time as to the big problem with the team. It may be Gailey and it may be an undercurrent caused by another coach. If the problem is with another coach, I am disappointed Gailey has not dealt with it, so the ultimate responsility still resides on his shoulders.

I will support players unless it is disclosesd some are purposely playing subpar because they are not getting their way. It would then be up to the honest players on the team to discipline these players and reveal them to the head coach.

I am not suggesting this is happening with the team, but it has happened before at Tech during the Bill Lewis era. However, there is some kind of problem (coaching or players) for a talented team like Tech this year to be playing so poorly at times.

And that defines in a nutshell the problem with this program. Mediocrity is fine, let's wait 5 years and try again. Clemson and FSU ate status quo but the rest of the ACC is moving up and if we wait we will surly get passed by.
