I'm bringing this thread back to the top. Does anyone else think that UGA is being overrated as a top 10 ranking? I don't see it. Their schedule and their losses on defense will be too much to overcome.

I dont think we will see Georgia ranked in the Top 10 at the end of the year. As I have stated before, I think Georgia's first 22 are going to be tough... their offensive line is mature, Greene has a year under his belt with Shockley in the background... RB's are a question, and I dont think Musa is going to be a factor this year either, he seems to be too injury prone... but the offense is going to be potent, as long as the line holds up... any injuries there, and there will be problems...

I dont think their defense is going to be as good this year...

The key to their season is playing injury free ball... I think Richt has done a good job of bringing toughness back to their program, but Georgia just doesnt have the depth to be a Top 10 team...

I see them an 8-4 team at best...

UGAg will need to find a running back quick! If they don't then their D will be on the fields lots as their gameplan will be similar to ours in '98... score 45 points a game and let the opponent score 44 =)

It will take a lot of luck for UGA to be #8. It is within the realm of possibility, but not probable. I figure them to lose at least three games.
