With the added 12th game and the fact that they count towards your bowl eligibility now you'll see teams playing I-AAs every year.
I suspect we will be playing a I-AA yearly.

All people want to look at are records(unlike in College BBall where it is all about who you've played). Therefore, people try to pad their records with D1AA teams. If Tech had a fluffy schedule like some other teams they would have won 9 games last year. I don't like the powder puff shedules, but if you don't do it then you fall behind others that do it(Even if you win the tough games you schedule, it is like having one less bye week for your players to recuperate and it is also less time for your second teamers to get into the game).
