Feel free to add your own.

1) Poor play action fakes by Suggs and Hollings never even made Clemson blink.

2) Eliminate the unsportsmanlike and personal foul penalties. Penalties sustained 2 Clemson scoring drives.

3) Keep contain at the end on defense.

4) Find guys to play in the secondary who are taller/faster and who won't get sucked up when they have deep coverage.

5) Put players who have a clue on the punt team gunner position.

6) Rotate the running backs.

7) Try and hit the man in front of you when you're pass blocking.

8) The QB should look at more than one option when there is a pass play. We have 4 other guys in the pattern.

9) Get the offensive plays and personnel in/out and don't waste timeouts early in the half - that would have cost us had Clemson not fumbled.

10) Make teams pay for turnovers.

11) Finally, when you all-out blitz YOU BETTER GET TO THE QB!!! (See long TD pass).

#12. When something is working (Hollings) keep using it until the other team proves that they can stop it. Even w/o the 70+ yd. TD run, he still averaged right at 4 yds. a carry. Even if the other team stacks the box and we get 3 yds., it is productive to set things up later in the game (liked the play action that fooled noone).

#13. Reduce the complex 4 and 5 receiver sets. Suggs nor our offensive line is ready for this. Keep a tight end/fullback next to Suggs to pick up the blitz.

#14. Screens/quick slants. Let Suggs build confidence by utilizing quick throws that can be big plays with either Hollings, Glover, Watkins or Smith getting the ball on the edge. Also will take pressure off since the defense pays for blitzing against us.

#15. Get Bilbo in the game. Unless injured, Bilbo should play if for nothing else a change of pace if Suggs and the offense is sluggish. Bilbo can run the wing-T or a variation there of and have a handful of simple passing plays that are high percentage. Let him build confidence in a real game.

#16. Stay out of third and predictable (long). Even Miami's offense has trouble converting 3rd and 10+ yds. to go. Don't take a long sack on 2nd down--if you can't elude the rush or throw it away outside of the tackle box, go down for a 3 to 4 yd. loss and give the offense a chance on 3rd down.

Develope some sort of a pass rush. Don't give the opposing QB all day to throw the ball, and don't let him roll out of the pocket.

Don't leave opposing receivers wide open and uncovered.

Run #24 Hollings 30-35 times a game. Pound 'em with TH. Quit passing the ball so much.
