I truly expect to see Josh Nesbitt on the field this week, no way Tashard is 100% says one trainer, likely still playing though as long as he can. Correy is moving around good but has a neck brace on, likely a few weeks away from playing again. Evans and Dwyer will be in on kickoffs with Earls out, Donley may see more time this week with Correy out and JJ probably limited. Lonowski is out, Cox will play but will be limited. Anyone else just ask.

By the way the article on the rumor mill was almost entirely false, not in all senses but it wasnt at all correct by the way it was worded. The relationship with CG and Dan is fine and was blown out of proportion. The writer also has no clue who the replacements would be if it were to happen. Been a bunch of meetings this week. Team, coaches, the higher ups. Should be an interesting game to see how the team comes out and performs, someone might be getting a wake-up call tomorrow from the man himself.

Hope everyone is having a great Hump Day! BE THERE SATURDAY!

In what form will nesbitt be on the field?

Cleanup duty after we get blown out? Tebow-like plays? Passing?

If all he's going to do is run QB draws, I would rather he not play.

Not really sure but JN mentioned he's ready to show people he can play. Any playing time is better then none for him since his redshirt is already gone. He needs to be on the field.

If Nesbitt is playing it's because Taylor Bennett has been choke slammed through the turf by Clemson's D-Line in which case we are likely down by 21 from the resulting chaos in which case Nesbitt with a rocket launcher isn't bringing us back.

Thanks for the update on Correy especially. Glad to hear he is coming back. How are his spirits these days?

demjackets, I've been enjoying your posts immensely.

One question about your cryptic second paragraph. I admit ignorance because I didn't read an article citing an issue between Chan & Dan (Rad, I assume?). Was there some perceived friction? Why have there been meetings between the levels?

Thanks...

The article suggested they don't like each other which isn't true. We have meetings all the time, but this week was a players only meeting then a coaches only meeting. I cant really speak on the other.

He seems ok, I don't think it will bother him once he gets back out there. He has been attending classes as well.

thanks for all the updates D.J. Very interesting seeing how we come out this Sat after two flat performances.

Demjackets,

What is going on at TE?

Not much apparently, we just dont have the bodies there. I think you will continue to see many 2 Tackle sets like last week. On goaline it will probably be MJ filling that role.

Been told some people on other boards read my post and they think I said we are starting Nesbitt. I'm not sure where they saw me saying that but I only said I expect him to be on the field at some point. If not some people will be hearing about it, I think he plays him in some capacity. Also people still thinking that the rumor was true about Dan and Chan, its not! Get over it.

I hope if JN plays we have some passing packages for him. As we get further in the season, I hope his playbook is more open, otherwise Clemson will simply put 8/9 in the box to stop the (obvious) run.

Thanks for the updates

Also Techie3518, I am not a big Gailey supporter like you suggest in the post I read. I was here before Gailey and I will be here after Gailey. I support the program and if Dan feels its time to move on then I support that. I support these kids that I interact with everyday. I respect Chan as a man and like him as a person. He is a good friend but I'm not a rah-rah he's the best type of guy. I'm a straight shooter, tell it like it is man.

Would you mind elaborating on the 2nd half of that statement?

Left me wondering!

I'd like to know too but some things should probably be kept from certain people.

Hopefully, we'll get the answer about the same time Clemson does and that it'll catch 'em with their britches around their ankles.

Good! I'll be happy to see JN get some snaps in this game to see what he can do with the ball. I don't expect the world, obviously, but he does present a nice change-up to TB.
